Exactly how I wanted it to be. A little bit here and there. The point was to end off this arc with a bit of both to capture what their relationship really meant.

I did mean for the two of them to have almost conflicting personalities. So that it feels like they would butt heads and eventually grow fond of each other. That was the intention at least. xD
I wonder how many other references you (or others) caught. There's certainly a ton of them.
