Cassandra and Maribell were on good terms before the grimoire, which made everyone paranoid. Clive wanted Maribell safe above all else, and Cassandra took that rather hard on top of the normal worries.
I would like to believe that the truth getting aired out was such a shocker to them that they all felt equally terrible and awkward about it afterward.
In Cassandra's case, once she realized that Maribell no longer loved Clive anymore and that their relationship wouldn't ever be the same, they decided to bury the hatchet and part ways.

Snazzy doesn't have telepathy. His thoughts just run parallel to his speech most of the time, so Maribell doesn't pick up any differences when she reads his mind (the written out thoughts are from her actively checking, not Snazzy sending). That's one reason she grows attached to him. She doesn't have to constantly hear that difference like she hears from other people.

Psst (it's not because of the grimoire)
I imagined 6" because Snazzy originally had to be able to hide inside her blouse in the first chapter. He's basically stuffed animal size that fits nicely between her mounds. But that's with his tentacles not extended. They kind of just stretch out a meter or so when they have to, which makes him kind of a cartoony jellyfish.
The Scratched Glass is the equivalent of a Hostess Club in Japan.

1) Didn't mention it specifically, but 1 hand over mouth, other hand gripping sheets.
2) She fell backward first, but caught herself on the railing. Snazzy poked her back (didn't cop a feel). Since she was still holding onto the railing, she fell forward to avoid the poke.
3) This point is valid, but suspension of belief works here. As you would likely see several tentacles lifting her up (assuming that Snazzy is strong enough), with more to spare to pull it off her. I don't think I ever mentioned how many tentacles Snazzy has...

Epilogue: Augusto's flagrant behavior was found by the Priesthood and he was hung soon after.
Maybe? I don't know. Out of Snazzy's sight. Out of mind.

But seriously, I really didn't think to much beyond the comic relief result.

I noticed that the jokes this time feel a little forced. It doesn't have the same punch as previous chapters.
I felt a little lost this time because the dialogue was rapid fire, without much of a break to separate what is going on. Too much reliance on telling the events in the dialogue itself.

The writing is obviously catering to a specific audience, so you're making some pretty normal assumptions. The writing is deliberately divisive in terms of opinion, and will continue to be.

I get hints of what you were trying to do. It's just that the words he say ran contradictory to that.
Given him being a bitter hardass, I almost expected him to threaten Ven somehow to drive her away, rather than use reason. He said didn't do a single good thing, not even by saving her, so it almost seemed like you were going to follow up with a (fake) agenda as to why he did, in order to scare her off.

Ok, so Eujin did laugh at her. Something about his character feels a little contradictory. Not sure if it's intentional.
He goes through a pretty long speech about how she should be like him, but his words make it should like he's trying his best to look out for her. He sounds a little much like the standard 'sensei that experienced too much shit himself and will break down and teach the successor how to avoid all that'.
I wonder if there could be a bit more grit and intimidation to really make it feel like Ven shouldn't follow in his (terrible, but self-ware) footsteps. That would really make it seem headstrong for Ven to ask him anyways.
As it is, I feel too much of the 'Eujin's got a good head so he'll make a good teacher' vibe.
