also, you’ll enjoy the “power scaling/leveling up” representation I do for Sayane’s musical scope and the songs themselves. with every song she gets more musically powerful, and it ties into the story with more instruments, more scope, etc!

yep I tried to make it a “realistic” musical. people don't really just start singing out of nowhere with music suddenly appearing. it's intentional of grounded in a way of how such things could happen. but yes the music was a great challenge and quintessential component of the story, it has to be part of any adaptation. I'd love to see an anime that gave a full 24 episodes to this story!
