I'm going to start by saying I've been enjoying the other chapters and I really liked the way this novel was written... up until this point. This chapter was a bit dense, and yeah, every story has to do those type of chapters from time to time, It's unavoidable. But the thing that threw me off and made it hard to focus was the constant shifts in perspectives. At one point we are in Kael's head and at another in Elisa's, and while it lets us know the thoughts and feelings of both, it also made some parts very confusing. Was it this way in the other chapters and I didn't notice? Or is it intentionally done in this one to do some type of "mind blending" effect that symbolizes how they are getting in each others head? Idk, the end result was that it made it confusing, at least for me.
On a positive note, the lines and choice of words are still as enjoyable as ever, and the upcoming wedding sounds like it will have a lot of juicy drama.
