Though now I understand what you meant when you wrote “You already know the ending”…

And you even added the line I mentioned! At least that managed to put a smile on my devastated face for a moment, lol.

But for real, the story was beautifully written, and the fact that he didn’t die alone in the dark, but instead in the glowing embrace of what he discovered, makes it feel once again like a peaceful ending, not an unsettling one.

You’re truly a master of hopeful, bittersweet endings.

There really should be a word for that…

Hopegedy? Tragihope?

Oh, what a twist! It makes sense that there was neither enough time nor enough credibility in his story to solve the problem with the help of others, but I’m glad good ol’ Silas was able to fix it himself!

Still, I’m not a fan of the finality you seem to be implying about him

Haha, that was such a great comedy-relief chapter!

The girls reacted to the horror movie exactly the way I imagined, and I had so many laughs! (Nataria bumping into the door frame ).

For Momo-chan, the motto clearly wasn’t “hide me in your heart” but “hide me behind Nataria” xD

And then Senri watching her from the kitchen… it was so sweet when his imagination started running wild and he pictured himself as the one she’d cling to while watching horror movies

Great chapter, perfect mix of comedy and fluff!

BTW, extra points for the Ramune mention! I love that stuff :3

Thank you so much for your thoughts on this “mini finale” (the real one is coming soon )!

I spent a very long time on these two chapters (especially the ending) because I wasn’t sure which direction to take the story...

There were two options: letting it escalate, with Koori fully drifting to the “dark side” and a separate, more tragic storyline, or taking the light-hearted route like it is now.

Would you have preferred the other direction? I'm still thinking that maybe I should have (tho it might have hurt to read )

Anyway thanks as always for your wonderful comments, Casha, it truly encourages me to keep on writing

For Ogawa it really is all about business isn't it? He’s the complete opposite of Senri here, but when you look at it soberly, he does have a point.

Listening to him would bring Senri naturally closer to his goal: not only becoming financially independent, but also seeing his sisters taken care of and on top of that, being able to pursue his passion!
