This is beautiful and sad all at once 😭 So Sylvaroth is some kind of world tree, and it's just the sun reaching the end of its life cycle...

No great darkness they're fleeing from, just the way things go...

Chapter:2

This has seriously melancholic vibes. So this is the end of the world?

And there are Flowsingers... I know all of your stories are part of the "Maraverse" but is this a distant future of Guardian of the Wind ? 😭

Aww I was hoping for an ending like this (yeah yeah.. I admit it, I just like monstergirl x human...)

Really enjoyed this story, the synopsis alone was already genius :>

So unfortunately, I cant tell you to go back to hisfic, Mike. I need you to write more stuff like this (or somehow combine it with hisfic lol)

Oh man, as someone who’s always played RPGs purely for the lore and atmo, this chapter rlly hit me hard.

God, I hate min-maxers so much! They already ruined WoW. :(
And now poor Strep’s self-esteem, too...sigh

Which is why I absolutely love how our Traveler is helping her turn her cave into a Viet Cong-style deathtrap in the jungle

I just hope he wont respawn too far away lol

Amazing Chest Ahead!

Chapter:2

Oct 01, 2026

I've never played any Dark Souls-like games, so I probably don't get all the references, but the comedy and charm of these two already won me over anyway :3

Poor Strep spent all that time planning her genius trap, just for some naked dude to show up and tell her her marketing sucks xD

I actually thought I'd gotten used to this kind of Maracore ending by now, but somehow it still catches me off guard every time xD I can see the reasoning behind it tho, but I still wish we'd gotten more information about the weapon, even tho it was never used... would it destroy the crystals? would it work like some kind of deathstar super weapon?

I think that's one of the cool things about this story: there rllyare no clear-cut good or evil choices. It shows that the choices we make aren't always simply right or wrong... everything depends on a certain pov. But in the end, they all shared the same goal: get rid of the Worms

O-over already?

Guardian of Wind

Chapter:29

Sep 30, 2026

So I guess the Council wasn't as bad as it first seemed after all! Lucius explanation actually makes sense, I mean, what else were they supposed to do? But now that there is another way and we know what the Spectres are actually afraid of, it definitely feels like its time for a different approach

Guardian of Wind

Chapter:28

Sep 28, 2026

So Fain didn't actually fight Tanur, but Sai in his stead. I guess that's why they both survived. I doubt they were really trying to kill each other 🤔

Aegon's old crew is also steadily growing smaller, but it's a good thing they've found a way to kill the worms "easily..."

Still, after those last few sentences, I have a feeling it's a false sense of security 👀

I actually added that off-screen fur-rubbing scene at the last minute after Mara's comment on the last chapter xD

And yep, now that there actually seems to be sth bigger out there, the danger is definitely there for Haku to fall back into her old mindset, but I guess it depends on what's actually going on over there...

Thank you so much for your kind comments and for reading this story, Jen! <3

It's very motivating, and I've already started working on an outline for the next part, so I think the journey will eventually continue

To:Nyatoh

Thanks for reading, Nyatoh! Glad you liked that mismatched little party :3

I think your gut feeling about Dariuwos is pretty much on point, but if it gets them to the eastern continent, I guess they’re okay with it

Aww, I was hoping we'd get to see the little ones again, especially Myan
That was the kind of ambush I was very happy with :3

I was kinda hoping for a little more romance between Elian and Kaia, but well, it's all there between the lines, so I'll just take what I can get :>

Congrats on finishing this, Jen! It was such a fun and enjoyable read, and I'm almost sad it's already over!

Exiled — Rekindling the Flame

Chapter:33

Sep 28, 2026

Yes! What a battle!

It seems like their allied army only came together at the last minute, when the bugs had already left their mines and were on the march.

But they stood no chance against the fire mage who never goes oom!

And once again, it was Kaia who pushed him beyond his limits and gave him the confidence he needed.

"The hottest fire-wielder," she said... I don't think she was talking about his abilities there xD

Anyway, they won the battle, but I don't think the bug threat has been completely eliminated yet. What about all the eggs and nests? They need to destroy them asap to prevent this from ever happening again!

It was quite the challenge to finish this on time, ngl

And please take your time, there are more important things than reading my fantasy yuri-baiting fic xD
