Loved the open yet very hopeful ending. ❤️ I really enjoyed reading this, and following Mel and Nina's inner journeys.
Oof, she's carrying so much guilt. 😭 I hope this was a turning point for her.
Wow, Nina is certainly being thrown into the deep end, but I think/hope her surviving the evening will help her confidence.
Love how they're both questioning their lives, wondering what it'd be like sharing it with each other. That bar meeting and Mel seeing it with fresh eyes was so good.

Yes, go Nina. I think them meeting over work is great. It'll give Nina something to focus on, and allow her to be more brave and 'normal'. Loved the coffee invitation, and Mel's surprise.
I really like this ping-ponging shifts between them, seeing everything from each of their views. Keeps it interesting (and slightly frustrating).
She's so sweet when it comes to her confusion about her feelings for Nina. And it was nice to get a glimpse of one of the good things she's using the 'bastards' money' for. She's quite the hedgehog, hard and prickly on the outside...
Yes. A decision taking her a step away from sel-sabotaging. And, oof. That level of indecisiveness is so exhausting.
