Joke's aside, that's very sad, dying alone in a hospital room surrounded by beeping machines like that, after an unfulfilled life. I'm glad that's not the end of his story.

ooooh. New character. Way to make an entrance! I am already intrigued. Also, the image of them sleeping in their little tree-hut, with Yuame holding fox-Kaoru in his arms like a fluffy pillow, is SO CUTE!!!!🦊🥰

I'm now very curious to find out more about Yuame's backstory. The fact that he didn't even know what he was before Kaoru told him is just so sad... 🥺

I actually double checked the tags to see if I somehow had missed 'romance', but no. Anyway, I love how close and intimate they've become.

And I hope they'll soon go somewhere not as overwhelming for Yuame... Those dreams blending with real-life tragedies were very well done.

And, as always the descriptions are great, the crowded festival, the sweaty workers... and the bone-crushing weariness of Yuame and Kaoru. I do hope they paid that ashole with leaf-coins. Humph!
