There was off-screen fur-rubbing. ❤️🔥For a moment there, I was worried she'd consider that Dariuwos was the True Great Hero she was sent to help, but Pan is still 'it'. On the downside, she got the perfect excuse to reset back into her old mindset - but I trust Pan to slowly change it again.
On one hand, it was a good thing that Dariuwos was so smitten by Haku (and her strength) since it got them a way in... on the other hand, it's clear that he considered Pan and Elda to be luggage... Hopefully they'll show him differently in the next volume. 😼

And poor Pan, knowing how she ended up there, it must be so hard seeing and hearing the way people treat the refugee ships... and naturally she's extra worried about Panwan. There will be more volumes, right?? RIGHT?!!

Anyhow. Congrats on finishing. It's been a delight following the girls and Elda. They're such a charming crew, and I'm definitely eager to see more of them -- which this ending implies... ❤️❤️

YES! While the conversation definitely isn't over... Haku admitting openly that she wants to stay with Pan (and Elda) is a huge step for her. They both have good arguments, though Pan's are stronger. I have faith in her -- and it seems her little story just might have been truer than she knew.

Whatever made people flee from the eastern continent could be something worthy of the Swan Saint's attention - and a Great Hero's.

But first they need a warm bath, and Haku needs to dry Pan all soft and fluffy again. ❤️❤️

Haha, yes, part of the reason for the interlude was to remind people of his (and Kovak's) existence. Elian has been out of touch for six years, so he needed someone to help with a more realistic plan - and some resources too.

And I think it's fair to say that one of them will find riding a lot easier than the other... 😹
