Okay, this chapter had me holding my breath! The tension in that parking lot scene was so good. Just when the stalker's game turned violently physical, Jun appears. That rescue was a huge relief, but like Akari, I'm immediately suspicious. Is he genuine, or is this just another, more sophisticated layer of the trap? The way you write her paranoia is so palpable, I don't know who to trust either, and I love that. Amazing chapter!

This was a lot of fun to read. lively and full of character as usual. The tavern atmosphere feels loud and warm right away, and Max’s humiliation turning into a reckless bet is handled really well. I like how the stakes escalate from teasing to something deeply personal with Resi. The ending line makes me very curious about what comes next.
