fantastic atmosphere as usual, the moonlit forest, the tension between Max and Theresia, and that slow buildup to the reveal. I love how the emotional conflict mirrors the literal danger, and the Wolpertinger’s first appearance is fascinating. Amazing chapter!

You've taken a plot point (the trial) and turned it into an exploration of trauma, public perception, and private healing. This story continues to be exceptional.

And the mark is getting cold. That connection was their warmth, and now it's just... static. Hale is helplessly guilty, but also he did what he thought was right, even if it broke them both.

But seeing it through Kuroha’s eyes, the girl Hale once protected, now defending her own brother, adds such a complicated layer. No one is purely right or wrong, and the system is designed to crush any dissent. That forced apology felt like a knife twist.

And that ending. The mark turning cold instead of warm? I actually gasped. The connection between them is damaged, and I have no idea how they come back from this. This story just gets more intense and emotionally real with every chapter.

The "fries" rhyme made me laugh. 😂 But the shift to "eyes" and what it means to both of them? So poignant.

You can feel the love in every line in shared mornings, silly brainstorming, private dreams. I am so incredibly soft for them.
