This chapter felt like a deep, sun-warmed breath of fresh air.
After everything they’ve been through, seeing them finally make it to the beach, Mele pushing through her fear, Fali quietly supporting her every step, was so rewarding. The swimsuit shopping was equal parts tense and sweet, and that moment when she says, “You’re hot,” and he just short-circuits? Perfect. 😂
But the real magic was in the quiet, the empty beach, the sun, the way they can just be together without the world crashing in. That ending with the sunscreen felt incredibly intimate and trusting. They’re learning how to be happy again, on their own terms.
