Okay, I'm officially invested in Jun. The way you're peeling back his layers is just as compelling as Akari's story. That "COLD CASE" explains so much about his weary, resigned demeanor. He's haunted by his own past failures. The dynamic between them is fantastic. They're two broken, secretive people recognizing the same exhaustion in each other. His line, "I'm not asking you to trust me. I'm asking you to stay alive long enough to decide if you should," is just perfect. This feels like a pivotal, quiet turning point. He is the meal lead. Right? I can't wait to see them get to know each other. Amazing chapter.
