As for the Greek slaves bit: I'm sure there would definitely be Romans regarding Greeks as mere slaves... but I'm not sure if Pomponianus would be one of them.
Because in reality, Romans owed a lot to the Greeks (philosophy, democracy, arts etc. Even warfare, as they borrowed the phalanx at first until they evolved the way to beat it... and ended up with the more versatile legion) and most "educated" Romans new that.
That said, I see why the argument was necessary. It was well written and resulted well too 👍
