Ah, though it'd be answered in the following volumes, let me explain the concept of Maddie's ability to heal in this part.

Instant healing is one of the six god-powers in my story. God-powers is what makes a Saint, well, truly a saint.

In this, each saint was given a god-power, and healing (instant) went to Maddie (the Human Saint). This is so that no saint can dominate her peers.

So relative to this, Maddie's healing god-power can only be used (in effect) for someone who is not destined to die, but injured (light or severe). How can she know who? As long as the god-power doesn't work, it is a sure sign.

Oh, and by the way, I love Sabaton.

About Kuro getting angry recently...well, staying in the turf of someone who wants to kill you at any cost (including cheating) is stressful. And I'd like to portray him about to get edgy with the odds against him.

We'll see...though with the Human Saint his friend, he's got a powerful supporter behind him.

It's mostly from school-themed fantasies and isekai. I don't know, but somehow, duels and tournaments there are trivial events only meant to showcase the OPness of the MC and mostly ends being interrupted with the appearance of a 'real' enemy.

Ah, you know how it goes back then. Knights would fight and die for their honor and/or their lady, though the said lady isn't even their wife. 😂

Kuro's last words in this chapter is his way of 'grandstanding'.

Yep, that's the point. He's out to earn the respect of the Duke in order to bail Maddie from her situation.

That's the reason why he's fine with accepting the request/command of the Rubinforth siblings, who didn't tell him the true nature of the Tri-Skill until the last moment.

See, Kuro is influenced by the JP isekai novels he read (mentioned in Volume 1). As such, he thoughts that Tri-Skill is just a 'watered-down' medieval tournament/duel that is so prevalent in JP isekais.

Ah, let me warn you that my longest chapter (around Vol. 4) is around 6.7k words long, and the subsequent volumes are around 4k words long (main chapters).

Just take it slow. I meant it for a 'relax' read, anyway. 😁

Well, I try to make the races different from one another, and that includes their culture and perspective towards other people's customs. I had enough of typical isekai fantasy with different races, yet their cultures and behavior resemble that of humans. ^_^

Ah yes, my typical chapters in the first arc (Volumes 1-5) lasts between 2k words to 6k words.

However, Arc 2 (Volumes 6-9) often have around 4k to 4.5k words per chapter, as well as Arc 3 (Volumes 10-11).

Please do take your time in reading my work. I hope you find it enjoyable too!

Hello! I'm the one who did all my cover and other illustrations. It's quite a pity that HoneyFeed can only take three (3) images, but I got tons of 'In-Chapter Illustrations' (just like a typical JP LN) ready for upload in any case.

As for writing them, my technique is to plan the whole story, then go by arc, and by volume. Then do my research (read articles, watch documentaries) to make my work as 'believable' as possible.

I started this work back in May 2019. My writing ethic is to write the whole volume within a specified period of time (self-imposed deadline), and keep myself from playing games, watching anime, and any other distractions while I'm writing my story.

Once I'm done with the entire volume, I'll edit it as soon as I can, and publish. A month or two of break will follow before I write the next volume.

That's how I managed to make those books. Actually, I'm writing volume 12 right now! ^_^
