Thank you for your continued readership and support, Fuji! I'm glad you liked it. This is the end of what I consider to be the first arc where all the parts are in place and Slashers' identity as a novel has solidified.
I'm glad you liked it. I wanted this Pigskin arc to really solidify what Slashers' identity as a novel is. I was sort of experimenting in the combat training arc. The Zone was made up on the spot.
Sorry, I had to kill your slasher, Fuji. I sort of didn't know what I was even doing with the Lonely Hearts Club for a while. I thought at the start they would be rivals to the Blue Meanies. Ending up as jobbers to Pigskin actually worked out quite well. It gives the novel a bit of a Game of Thrones feel if the readers know I'm not beyond killing the 'good guys' off.
RIP. All he wanted was to cure people of the greatest disease of all....life.
Pigskin is meant to be sort of the Terminator of the Slashers world.
Yeah, Old-Tailed-Fox was saying he wanted to see the Blue Meanies' friendship develop more, so I've been putting more of that in. Nice juxtaposition between psychotic and cute.

Thanks, Fuji. I've been learning from you with the interpersonal drama stuff. It helps give context to the fighting. Otherwise, this would all all just be mindless violence. 😆
I'm much more flexible with Sam as opposed to the other characters in terms of the things I let her try out.
