Thanks! I've been holding these ideas back for years. I think every piece of fiction I ever write is going to be set in this Multiverse. I'm not guaranteed to win, no way. Slashers main problem is that its jam packed with things that are unmarketable to the Japanese market: copyrighted brands, references to religion, politics, philosophy, etc. I'm going to have to really file down its edges and change some things in the edit. If it doesn't win though, I'll add all those things back in their full form.

The whole of Slashers is essentially one big tournament. As for the Alamo, I'm just using famous destinations from all around Texas. It may be subconsciously thematically relevant, I don't know. I liked the Walpurgisnact similarity too.

I'm aware that Sam has become the character with the most charisma. I think it's because Jack has to drive the plot forwards, whereas Sam can do whatever she wants.

I like what you've done with Drunken Serpent. Perfect student in school but delinquent on the STREETZ.
Before you publish the fights with the Queen and the King, a piece of advice. You should have them do something impressive combat-wise before their fight with Honey so that her victory over them will seem more monumental. Like maybe the Queen/King beats up an entire dojo full of karate black belts. If you don't want to write a whole scene, just mention that something like that happened and that people fear them for it.
You're making me want to start reading UnOrdinary again by the way. Why do all of these series have to be so looong? I think their should be a law where you can't continue a manga or manga equivalent over 100 chapters and you can't write sequels. 😆 I feel like I've never truly finished these series.
I will certainly read and comment on all your work since you've always read mine. I'll be totally honest with you, though, it's going to be after September 5th as I want to really focus on finishing Slashers. I've done 30k words of 45k words so far!
