Thanks so much, Euphemia! You're very sweet and have been a wonderful reader! Since I left you guys on a cliffhanger for six months, I was eager to complete the story as soon as the contest ended (the contest rules stated you couldn't add anything before then).
Jack and Marilyn's fates were sad, but then Marilyn was a evil woman who only realised it at the end and got what was coming to her in my opinion, and Jack got exactly what he asked for, to become the Number One Slasher, only to realise that with all the other slashers dead or gone, he's a lone wolf amongst sheep. I think he'll live out a very lonely life, but then he deserves it. As shown by the ending, for all his talk about reforming, he'd become a slasher again if Marilyn showed up and wanted him to. Puck, Sam, and Lobo, on the other hand, aren't as damaged, are young, tough, and flexible enough to start over, and wise enough to know that they need to seperate themselves from Jack. As for Mammoth, while he didn't reform, he did learn humbleness, that he's not the strongest and has a long way to go.
I'll keep you updated on any future novels! Thanks again!
