Jack is...complicated. You wont find much in the way of the macabre throughout the story since it's supposed to be for the 13+ shonen demographic. It's mostly an action comedy like you say. Thanks for the compliment and your readership.

Each character is based on at least one character from Chainsaw Man or No More Heroes. Now that you mention it, I must have subconsciously taken the motel idea from No More Heroes too!

Thanks. I ripped that off of Paradise Lost's 'Better to reign in Hell, than serve in Heaven.' I guess thematically it's a action horror comedy like The Cabin in the Woods. I probably should have made that more clear in the synopsis because more than one person was turned off by the prospect of reading a horror story. I don't like being scared myself, so I guess I understand.
