I've never watched Boku no Hero Academia before, so I don't know who Deku is.
And the whole point of this novel is to make the MC annoying, and not relatable. In fact, it parodies people that overthink like this in real life. There won't be any character development, so think of it as a funny novel with no deep meaning.
I wish Honeyfeed had italics, but I will try the different quotation marks to distinguish thoughts from words.
