I like the move of making the protagonist someone cocky needing to learn humility rather than the prototypical MC, only thing I would suggest going forward is a Save the Cat moment, we need him to do something that endears him to us because we can only relate to being angry at the world for so long, I’ll definitely be keeping up with this story though because I do really enjoy the concept!!
