The first few lines of dialogue about drowning kinda ticked me off but then the actual start of the story really drew me back in. I'm really liking the style of the prose. It feels very nice to read.
Will be keeping an eye on this one!

Only liking this so you don't draw GEP fanart.
Very interesting start. I'm enjoying the prose and I'm liking the characters so far, although the bits of worldbuilding at the start put me off a touch.
