I don't want to kick a dead horse, but I do agree with previous comments saying that the transition from Earth to Dianoct + the skirmish scene was kinda hard to follow. While I can relate to wanting to keep things light and easy to read, I definitely think some extra descriptions would clarify things up, especially with such a big shift in location.

I like that Shiera seems to have a good brain on her shoulders so far. She has some critical thinking to discern the sort of setting she has teleported in. I hope to see more of this in future chapters.
