I don't know if it's exactly a hive mind, since there isn't a collective. There's just one "brain", Ashilda's, who controls multiple bodies at once. When I think hive mind I think more like the Borg, where each member still has an individual consciousness just one that's connected to all the other consciousnesses working for a singular purpose.
And yes, double post. Since this is the last chapter of the story (there's an epilogue though) I'm going to be focusing my remaining time on updating my other two stories.
