For a lot of people, sadly, the appeal of owning a dog wears off after a while, and they just go through the motions and don't really give them the care they deserve (if they even keep them in the first place)
And don't get me started on the monsters who run dog-fighting rings...

Thing is though, Lulu sees Nyk as a dog. In the "dogs don't know how to spend money" sense. And to be fair she's spending a fortune on him already, it just happens to be for the purpose of furthering her own interests.

Yep. Sadly, some stuff (like the love triangle with Andy-Josh-Jamie for example) is just there to add some color to the supporting cast and won't really get much focus due to time and wordcounts.
