Wow. This is actually a really good first chapter. I loved how you described the tensions that were building, which will inevitably lead to WWIII. That’s what interested me the most here.

To be honest, I feel like this was one of the better interactions between sakuya and jumo. I guess it’s because it’s sort of refreshing to see a new way of bonding, rather than just the typical “do you like my cooking?” trope (which I can still be wholesome tho).
That itching tattoo of his DEFINITELY has something to do with his supernatural powers or something of the sort

Bro this is hilarious and such a good concept. I love how no matter what you’re talking about it always feels like it has an air of sarcasm or humor in it. If you end up blending some great innovative serious and emotional and desperate moments into this (which im sure you will) I feel like that will really be a true test to see whether you can incorporate that into your style. Looking forward to seeing that in this work. The ape man still has me laughing.

Lol bucket head was the highlight of the chapter for me
Now that I’ve caught up, I’d like to say that I can sort of see where this story is trying to go (unless you end up surprising me) and I think you’re doing a pretty good job so far of setting up the world for that. The only thing I really want as of right now is to have a better grasp on the personalities of the characters, especially the main two. But I’m sure that comes with time.
Things are looking good so far though. Keep it up.
