Thinking of the Boss' story from Ch21 reminded of where I grew up. We were on a dead-end road in the middle of the country. When we'd see an unfamiliar set of headlights appear we knew what was going on. We'd take in the abandoned animals that found their way to us. I tried not to think about those that didn't. Hopefully they had their own Kingdom deep in the woods.
