Thanks for your comment Marshall!! If not for your consistent reading and commenting I would probably have dropped this story long ago (around that time when the updates slowed to twice per week).
For the second point, it was actually intentional to confuse people HAHAHAH but now that you’ve pointed it out and I think about the effect it would have… maybe you’re right and I’ve edited it out. As well as the typo you caught, thank you for that!
As for the first part… To be honest, it’s because I usually write 5000-6000 word long chapters, but at the same time, I want to keep the releases daily (and also with convenient lengths to read). Based on my plan, the hypothesis comes in the next update and when binge-read I doubt the pacing will be off.
Not sure if it’ll count as a spoiler but… if you want me to explain what his thinking is, I could happily comment it somewhere else that isn’t here—since it’ll be revealed within the next 400 words or so :)
