I think in the context of seeing a 'supposedly' sick person, it was rather sudden, but I think it's still consistent with Ezre's character so it's ok.

Probably because I usually write in 1st person (from the male character's POV), so actually listening to the thoughts of the female character was O_O

I found it quite funny! :)

Yes, describing setting is something I am admittedly very weak in, which is why I write exclusively urban stories hahahah. I'll try my best to work on this in the edit!!

You're very good at writing and incorporating setting, which is probably why you picked up on it so much... thanks for pointing it out. I really didn't realise this.

It's just a dumb Pokemon trope where Kohei ranked the Top 5 girls at his middle school (based on looks) by comparing them to the 'Elite Four' plus a 'Pokemon League Champion'.

I think my current plan is to finish the story, and if I ever get the chance to I'll probably end up rearranging the events as well as changing the synopsis.

Beyond a storytelling perspective, I would like to know what you think of the System itself. Are you interested in it? Disinterested? Does it feel generic?

Sorry for the barrage of questions, I'm just very curious since even I feel I pulled this out of nowhere. I'll be checking out your story right after I post this!

Hi everyone.

Commenting here as sort of an author's note—

If it feels like the story has suddenly taken a turn the genre didn't imply, that's my fault, though I did want it to eventually lead to this.

It's a product of realising that a lot of my initial outline didn't work, mostly due to the open-ended ending requirement—and therefore I had to change it to a more generic set-up by playing the 'elite high school' trope straight.

It's weird (not in a negative way) because I keep picturing Kasumi as female... like Asuna from SAO or something, but she's actually a big dude LOL

Nice chapter! I enjoyed the romance bits between Mylo and Kasumi, and I'm looking forward to the inevitable developments between the two of them when Kasumi talks about where she's from.

Yes it's hard and particularly so because fourth-wall breaking can sometimes come off as an author being 'arrogant' so to speak, but I don't want people to think I'm someone like that HAHAHAH

Yes there's an in-universe explanation for it :) Though when it will come (if in this volume at all) is still up to the plot. Oooo, spooky...
