Marilyn is going to encounter a terrible fate, isn't she (One by the hands of Sammy no less...)

The action scenes with Jack and co. was splendid but I can't help myself from been intrigued by the logistical concerns behind an actual Murder Death Kill like this, even if this is fictional America 1989... Like the organizers would have to book the Alamo for the night but I can't imagine members of the Masquerade or the King in Yellow standing in line for the ticket counter. That would make for a hilarious scene though~

Looks like the next arc is the Training Arc and I look forward to what you have in store for us~

(The most interesting training arc I had seen so far wasn't from anime but from the last season of Regular Show...)

Oh no, something happened to Granny but Leo did not sound out at all! Bad doggo... unless it was also a casualty of whatever transpired!?

The opening preamble is so very intriguing~ That, coupled with the convoluted politics between countries and their far-reaching effects to unlinked third parties such as Nia and Aez left me with no doubts that you have meticulous planned for this story.

Rest assured, your efforts will be rewarded~

Looking forward to reading on and see how everything comes together, from the conflict for the scroll to the mysterious new Tokrei with its super advanced tech for sharing~

It is very interesting that you viewed the final step in evolution as the change from corporeal to the non-corporeal form. Moving forward from Carbon-base lifeform to Hydrogen-base lifeform would definitely ease up many of the living processes but we are still too long away before we can become sentient space dust floating in the universe... A fun thought nonetheless~

Alternatively, our MC from Proxima Centari could be manifested dark energy, with their effects commonly seen and observed but not their own existence, much like how he was described in the story...

I find myself most fascinated by the scene where Lucy reunites with his dad after so long, a real touching sight~

Thank you for catching that, I reworked that para a little such that it reads better (I think). Also took the time to re-read the whole chapter to correct anything if need be... The later chapters might contain more mistakes since that might be when I started to run out of time but I will try my best to correct them if you spot them~

In terms of the possibility of getting more lives, where "he" is going, it might be possible, just very very difficult and time-consuming and not to mention resource intensive... Though I would very much make sure "he" does not die but that doesn't prevent "him" from getting "himself" into near-death situations...

That was one of the reasons why I took a rather significant amount of time for each chapter. Whenever I wrote, I make it a point to see the world and scenario play out in my head to its entirety before I could pen it down. In a sense, it is like watching the anime of my story in my head.

Although, only the plot and actions stood out, I could never quite grasp the faces and voices of my characters...

That is abt right, the part abt puzzle story where a certain clear condition had to be reach before Yang could continue "his" progress back home... Though the catch would be there would be no way for "him" to know what is the clear condition in the other world.

In terms of father, you'd be surprise how common being cold is for Asian Fathers...

Now that you mentioned that abt Sou and Rou, I can't remove the image of the Grady Twins from The Shining away from my mind. The specific mention of black-and-white also sprinkle some Psycho in as well. Though honestly, I could imagine behaving like that just to troll others that do not know them that well...

Got to say, you really know your horror and slashers, don't you~

How "he" was abducted? How I wish I could write to the point where this could be explained... I do have a reason in mind but narratively speaking, we are miles away from even seeing that tip of the iceberg (シ_ _)シ

I'm sorry to hear what happened with your cover art and you ran-away illustrator. But "Tom & Daisy"'s cover came out really good, what stopped you illustrating "The Time Capsule" in the same style?

Speaking of which, I would be more than happy to read "The Time Capsule" when I do get the time. The premise reminds me of "The Day of the Triffids"

I am really proud of that cover myself. If given more time, I may even be able to write to a point of the story where the cover and title made sense.

But so far, judging from where it ended off before the competition deadline, the meaning to the title and cover may not be as obvious...

The family being eerie? I am really curious as to which description made you feel that way if you would be so kind to enlighten me.

Really like the intro to King in Yellow. He came down and demonstrated his ruthlessness and also just so happens show all of the slashers the legitimacy of his one-hit kill weapon before disappearing, doing nothing more but also nothing less.

I wouldn't know if it is definitely a good thing to make him appear more frequently but at the very least, his entrance here felt right...

Here's the beginning of a long binge so I would be in your care~
I would wish you good luck for the contest but your story is rather unique that it should be well within your grasp to get into top 19 or less!

That is certainly a very valid point.
In the very few multiplayer games I had ever played, I did come across times when I happened to play with a group of randos and was surprised at the fun we were having, only to loose the opportunity to obtain their contacts...

This bittersweet undertone to the comes-and-gos of multiplayer games, I can't say I don't like it~

The friendship between Geet, Ty and Kizou is really wholesome. Even though Geet and Ty were meant to be Kizou's guardians, but their respective insistence on treating one another, not as master and servant, but as friends and perhaps even brothers really shows how much they meant to each other.

I would have love to see more of their interactions but Kizou does need to meet new friends, which reminds me, the Prophecy! This mission is most likely part of that prophecy too, isn't it!?

Anyways, the binge continues as I continue to read at my own pace~
