I'm a passionate web novel writer, dedicated to crafting captivating stories that transport readers to exciting new worlds.
Writing has always been my greatest joy and an integral part of my life. I have been honing my storytelling skills for years, exploring various genres and experimenting with different narrative techniques. From epic fantasy realms filled with magic and adventure to contemporary tales that delve into the complexities of the human experience, I am constantly pushing the boundaries of my creativity.
I am a manga - anime fan since I was six and my passion for it only grew stronger over the time.
In my last year of high school, I decided to create my own manga, but with the exams coming up, I couldn't go farther than creating my heroine and roughly sketching the story. However, as a reminder, I took my manga heroine's name as my online alias.
Anyway, when I found the MAL x Honeyfeed Writing Contest announcement, I was very enticed by the idea of having Konoko's story made a Japanese manga. I have never had the chance to write one word of this story up until now. I only drew three embarrassing manga panels 😅. It was never meant to be a web novel either 😂. Yet, I decided to finally write it as a web novel for this contest.
While I doubt it will actually become a Japanese manga (too good to be true 😂!), I feel very happy that I managed to write this story 😊!
“The Sun ascended slowly above the land of the rising Sun. The sky was ice crystal clear and the low Sun was so red that it looked as if it escaped from a Japanese flag. The last few hours were dead quiet in the frozen Tokachi wheat fields, in Hokkaido; a male barn owl just finished hunting rodents hiding among the wheat fields and the snow.
The owl caught two red squirrels, a crying rabbit and a small snow-white lizuma weasel; it caught its last prey despite having hidden perfectly in the thick snow and barely making a sound. It stood no chance against the barn owl's acute hearing though. It was a good night’s harvest for the male owl, his mate and their four fledglings...”
