That is strange ... Hotaru and Kazuya just appearing there and Hideki passing out is really suspicious. Don't know if it has to do with this spider ... or the monster that was supposed to be in the empty cage ... Maybe we also have something that is capable of frying people's brains. This could also explain why the past group started fighting all of a sudden. Perhaps something influenced their emotions ... if Hotaru and Kazuya start getting aggressive all of a sudden we know it but until then it is just a theory 😅😂 Seems like my head is trying to set up a new record.

Who could have guessed that? Never seen Raiders of the lost Ark? 😂

Maybe the creature that was missing from it's cage was the spider they encountered earlier. Could very well be that all the monsters the school has to offer are locked up in those prison cells. This means that someone or something (probably the girl that got killed or the janitor) are controlling the monsters inside the school and kind of decide which one has to attack when. If there is a limited number it might even be possible that the corpses are actually turned into the monsters by them ... Also it would be really funny if we get a kind of backroom moment where the look inside a room where an array of displays from "surveillance cameras" is arranged. But I'm just theorizing here again ... would also be strange and spoil possible future encounters if all monsters there would be released at once 😅
So let's see how this battle turns out in the next chapter - and what vital information the book holds! Maybe the diary of the girl ... or a kind of bestiary 😊

Hm … yeah, you got a point there … maybe it is like he receives pension and now has the time to do what he really likes … and of course there had to be a reason that he became a janitor in the first place. Maybe it always was his passion to clean up and arrange corpses on altars and now he can do just that in the school forever and does not have to bother about the rooms themselves anymore! Plus: who cleans the basement in a school? That is mostly always dusty and all 😂

So the janitor actually cleaned up everything for his personal altars! 😏 and I mean hey ... everyone needs to have a hobby 😂
Now the creepy basement vibes start kicking in. And I guess this is the scene depicted on the cover ... without Ayase clinging to Hideki, sadly 😅
Now I want to know what happens to them next!

Hmmm ... we don't have to look through the chapters to see it. I guess the only place to look at is the title ... and I mean I'm not 100% sure, but I recognized a few of the chapter titles as the titles from a few songs. But is this just a gimmick or does it actually have a deeper meaning for the plot if you address it so openly? 🤔😋

And wow, this definitely was the fanservice chapter that does not need to hide itself from any beach episode 😂
And the thing with that the key is only utilizable at night with the crescent symbol ... is something I should have figured out 😂 I was too preoccupied about thinking WHERE it could fit. Let's hope that they don't have to put it into a keyhole in "janitor meatball's" neck or chest or wherever, while he tries to murder them. 😅
But its getting night again, so we'll have to deal with more threatening beasts from now on ...
Great chapter and already thrilled ... and also a bit scared, about the next one 😊🫶

Oh, we actually get to see Ayase's view as well! 😱 I expected a bit more aggression to kick in, but after all it was really great, seeing the world through her eyes.
Plus we got some bro and even girl's talk on both ends. And it looks like the things are all going according to plan ... even though they are still all a bit reluctant to their feelings 😏

A crescent symbol ... Hmmm, very interesting ... 🤔 I think ... I don't have a clue at all, where this key is supposed to go ... 😅
Even though Mayu is still down, it seems like the comfort Hideki gave her helped her to keep pushing forward.
I'm expecting deep bro talk with Kazuya in the next chapter ... hopefully he hammers into Hideki's dense main protagonist brain that he and Ayase are just meant for one another ... but we'll see 😅😂

Hideki is really troubling his future girlfriend with his careless acts of heroism 😂🙈
Glad it turned out good for him, though. The anatomical model was really heartless (especially after Hideki ripped it out of his chest)! 😉

I really hope that Mayu will somehow cope with the loss. She still seems to suffer a lot. And the key is different ... Maybe it's the key to the anatomical model's heart? 😋😂

Our knight in shining armor carrying his princess 😍😂👍 You didn't promise too much - now she has no other way than to fall head over heels for him! 😂
Also ... did you know how heavy carrying a human is, even if it is just a three apples Ayase? Props for Hideki for even making a few steps, let alone jump with her 😅
I hope her ankle gets better fast, though. It's the same as with a Zombie Apocalypse: You don't have to be fast, just faster than the others 😉😂

Interlude? More like twisting the knife in the wound 😜😂🙈
But it’s nice to get a little backstory about Yoko and Mayu nonetheless. Seems like they still got along despite their problems. And I can really relate to Mayu‘s point of view there: It’s hard to force you to not care, but it’s the only thing you can do if you can’t do anything about your powerlessness.

And thanks for the shoutout at the end! Hope someone did their way there 😅

Wow, great to hear that I actually managed to match what you envisioned! Also an attest that you did a great job with the descriptions! So I'm really glad you liked it! 😊 (And just as a side note ... I think in order to make the picture visible you have to add it to the "Showcase" underneath the Cover Image in the Edit Novel Page - a bit complicated, I guess. But maybe worth a try to not make people wonder, who read this comment section 😅)
And uuuhh, if you really take in that sentence ... it really seems to go in the direction ... I mean route, it is supposed to! 😏😍😍😂
