The mystery aspect is great! I've been thinking since I started the chapter too - what if they just ignore the targets, or, even better, just get together with one another, to both game the Cupid and still experience romance? But with them not knowing who their targets exactly are, a lot of possibilities open up, and it becomes a dangerous game of walking a tight rope. Love to see how things develop from here.

So this is quite interesting. The dialogue about Shiera’s age suggests that this takes place in 2016, but then the whole reference thing kicks in. Assuming you’re not just doing in for the funny quips, this should mean that either Dianoct is placed in Earth’s far future, or it has the means to observe Earth’s far future, *or* it works similar to Fate’s Throne of Heroes and exists outside of space-time to pull Earthlings from the past, present and future. Whatever it is, it’s really interesting to think about.
