If you're old, I'm old 😅 But yeah, I'm just content that my story isn't edgy then lol Gotta back in my game though and figure out some more jokes for the next few chapters haha But it's fun to write Asagiri so sometimes they come naturally

Yup, it's a glimpse not only into Nishikata's foundations, but also part of the story's as a whole. Glad it seems like you found the characters appealing :) There's a couple more to introduce later on so hopefully those come off just as well 😆 Oh yeah, love me some references in my stories so thought I might as well allude to some other projects as well haha xD Next chapter will go into more details about things, and what I'm trying to build up towards.
Yeah, Noriko isn't in a good state of mind at this point in time, so that's probably why the chapter went in the direction it did. Most of the upcoming chapters I'm writing, except maybe chapter 14, should be more chill and comedic in overtone again. Though, I'm a bit surprised you pointed out the nihilistic themes this chapter rather than the sexual themes; I was a bit more worried about the latter so guess it's fine😅 Hope this chapter answered some of the questions you had too.

Yeah, this chapter was meant to fill in a bunch of the blanks people might've been wondering about A bit darker and more fanservice-y than normal as well, but I think those elements helped elicit the atmosphere I was going for Nishikata the MVP though for resisting temptation 😆

Oh yeah, glad I managed to convey their unique idiosyncrasies well ❤️ I'm aiming for a mix of hyperbolic anime humor spliced with the occasional nihilistic theme haha xD Asagiri is fun to write so that definitely helps keep the jokes and punchlines flowing
