Yeah, Noriko isn't in a good state of mind at this point in time, so that's probably why the chapter went in the direction it did.
Most of the upcoming chapters I'm writing, except maybe chapter 14, should be more chill and comedic in overtone again.
Though, I'm a bit surprised you pointed out the nihilistic themes this chapter rather than the sexual themes; I was a bit more worried about the latter so guess it's fine😅

Yeah, this chapter was meant to fill in a bunch of the blanks people might've been wondering about
A bit darker and more fanservice-y than normal as well, but I think those elements helped elicit the atmosphere I was going for
