Oh yes, I'm already attempting to shake up the romcom genre by including themes of nihilism in my story; if you stick around enough, they really come into play around chapter 12.
As for an action scene, I am toying with the idea for one in my GiG story, but it would happen in a future volume instead of the one I'm currently writing.
Writing it might prove difficult though considering first-person doesn't lend itself as well to action scenes as third person 😅
