Absolutely love the use of the word psychopomp here, it really has me imagining just this whole array of overworked folks isekai-ing people around. Lovely opening.

For sure!! I definitely wanted to showcase in this chapter the type of Khan he would be, and is trying to be.

I really love the way you describe how these people view the Goddess, not as this infallible icon but someone who did struggle but overcome those struggles (which is way more inspiring).

Absolutely fantastic chapter and a great little action scene (also all of them dealing casually with the slavers while tossing quips is FANTASTIC)!! Also seriously I'll admit I'm smitten with Elora but Lark's got some solid charisma of his own!!

Buff elven lady killing slavers? Damn, just take all my money! Seriously though I really like how quickly Lark adapts and keeps himself composed, it's a subtle thing but it really highlights why he's a good captain/leader.

Okay it's certain now that she can talk, I absolutely adore Pippa. Forever I will stan her and her almighty dark powers.

Oooooh he skips dialogue!?!? Cardinal sin! But also that is hilarious to think he's like "I've done this all before just lemme get to the game." Really enjoyed that.

Such a touching opening. And I really love this setting, you really do sell it being a very Souls-like kind of setting with the way you formatted the messages and whatnot. Really excited to read more!!

You have such a talent for showcasing the things that motivate Rina's choices without outright stating it, quite beautiful!

Also oh no! I hope Rina and Selene work this out, maybe with smooches?
