Oh;
That can happen a lot;
Maybe it helps to write sequences of what will happen?
Ex: -"Leon goes to the cathedral"
-"Leon thinks Helena is lying"
-"A huge monster attacks Helena and Leon"
-"The monster kills all the bystanders"
-"Leon and Helena kill the monster"
-"Leon notices Helena smiling".
Writing like that is a lot more simpler.
Maybe, it can help you with Worm?;
Oh, recently there is an anime of a novel.
It's called "The Time I got resurrected as a slime".
In there, the lore got developed as the story got advanced.
Maybe, that helps you too?;;
It could work as inspiration, I think;
Ohhhh.
I know that game.
I played it as a kid, but never finished it;
My friend is crazy about it, so I was replaying it c':
I like how you can create the world as you like.
And, the events get triggered in a not obvious way.
Sometimes, you had to reenter and reinteract with everything over and over, to find out what triggers the events.
My favourite was Elazul. But, I also like Sandra a lot c':
