holy fuck roy is insufferable
I get where his rage is coming from but he activated my fight or flight response anyway
I'll say though, an issue I had with this chapter is that it felt VERY info dumpy, which I get the reason why, but it didn't feel like characters speaking. If I could compare it to something, it'd be anime characters randomly getting their tragic backstories told in 2-3 min during tournament arcs, except the latter has the advantage of being audiovisual. I feel like this would've greatly benefitted from being set up before rather than told in multi-paragraph, succeessive monologues. I had to read twice and I still feel like I'm cramming for a test I have in 5 min.
That said, I do like the way both sides presented almost as though both of them are brainwashed in their own way. I don't think there will be a bloodbath next chapter, but if there is... whew.
