I clearly stated in the end of the chapter before this one that EUA was behind the attack, in this chapter, never mentioned a president, mentioned minister of foreign affairs. You are confusing the EUA president for the prime Minister, this chapter doesn't even happen in Japan.

Close enough, Rozen Maiden is so good for a reference in the story's context that I had to make a reference to it.
The idea behind the Doll metaphor was about making a critic about our society and the core theme is misery porn (not literal porn). Rozen Maiden being similar is just a coincidence. (Also, I only started to watch Rozen Maiden Thursday, the idea for the Doll Metaphor was a year ago).
