I do like the slow buildup in this version. I did enjoy the self contained shortstories too, but I like how this version takes its time to flesh out things.

A very good reading experience overall.

A bit less comedy than I had expected from the premise, but I don't mean that in a negative way.

When you say this story is independent, does that mean the 3 only share the main character in different non overlapping settings/timelines, or are the other 2 taking part later on in this setting/timeline and reading them first would spoil part of this story?
