Geh, yeah, that was one hell of a weird dream.
Here comes the isekai part of the story.
Uhh 10 hour flight... Very good chapter given the circumstances. The 'at dust' was supposed to be 'at dusk', right?
I feel you were one item short of the law of threes here, when it comes to something almost falling on the MCs head.
Compared to the last chapter, this one feels more balanced between the descriptions and the character interaction. Don't get me wrong, both works just fine and I like that you mix it up from chapter to chapter, it keeps things interesting.

A sorry, I think I missunderstood the reason you didn't want to use names for your characters and wanted to suggest a method to have 'names', like regular names, while also having 'true names'/'second names' that give you power.
That isekai flashback sure came unexpected.
You could always pull something like earthsea and use 'names' and 'true names', with only the alter giving someone power... just something to consider.

So you ended it with chapters cut out? Gotta agree with the others, this felt a bit rushed. You still handled it better than my original last chapter.
