The chemistry is being set up, but the romance itself moves at a glacial pace in these early chapters, even if I'm going for a slow burn. I'll have to see if I can fix that when I come back to it after finishing the novel.

I got the inspiration for Indestria from the city of Bruges, which is also known as "the Venice of the north". It's a beautiful medieval city with canals running throughout and a towering cathedral. Just a fun tidbit.
