You know what, I think you're spot on, even if I didn't realize it when making this chapter. I rewatched Turning Point 2 in preparation of my season 2 watch a few days before writing this, so it only makes sense. God do I love that three-on-one beatdown, I could watch it for hours on end.
Verus was mainly inspired by D from Vampire Hunter D, though he does share a lot of similarities with Orsted, like the gray hair and being a serious man of few words 🤔
