I liked how you spun this around here, slowly showing Haruhi getting more and more tired of his act. And then Sumi dissing anime just sealed the deal 😭 big oof right there. That's pretty much a "welp this relationship is a goner" moment. It would be for me at least 🤣 I don't mind someone who isn't an anime fan, as long as they're willing to watch a show or accept it as a neutral thing. But if they actively dislike the whole medium? Ehhhh we're not gonna be hanging out for long.
Does Haruhi know someone in the other boat?! :O Kaori? I'm wracking my brain here trying to see if we've heard Kaori before 😖 ...wait Yuuto?! And Kaori?? ARENT THOSE ICHIKA'S PARENTS 😱
(As an aside, having been in one of those swan boats... 😭 the oars ARE so HEAVY. For real, I'm only ever getting in one with a motor from now on.)
