I'm on team Haruhi 🤣🤣🤣 okay, that's kind of a non-anwser, but how do I put this?
I'm waiting for Haruhi to figure out what he really wants, and where he feels comfortable. Right now, he's able to be his more true, awkward, otaku self with Ichika...but he has to lie about being in a relationship with her, and lie about where he's going (to family and friends) whenever he and Ichika go out somewhere. With Sumi, Haruhi is able to follow his true attraction (he genuinely seems to like her, and he *wants* to be a part of the cool kids group)...but he has to lie about his personal tastes and hobbies, because he thinks Sumi wouldn't like him otherwise.
So in both cases, Haruhi's still living a half-lie. Obviously I'm leaning more towards Ichika just because we've spent more time with her and she's on the cover art 🤣 but right now both options are about equal in my mind.
It would depend how the girls react to him "coming clean" and being himself. (As in: How Ichika would react if Haruhi asked to stop fake-dating, because that's his lie with her. And how Sumi would react if Haruhi admitted to having "uncool" hobbies, since that's his lie with her.)
