"Instinct" and this, Ichika, is why the rice burned 😂 Haruhi is getting more than he bargained for with this one! The cooking curse is strong with Ichika! (Okay, but I love romance stories where the guy can cook but the girl can't, so seriously, I'm enjoying this so much <3) Ichika about to give an electric mixer a run for its money with her POWER STIR move.

Casually remove that little bit of batter and then, the electric mixer hell breaks loose 🤣 gosh I'm glad one of the mixer whisks didn't get caught in her hair!! (I've had that happen IRL, and thankfully turned it off INSTANTLY but omg was it frightening.)

Awww they were so close to a cute moment, but STUN-GUN-KUN is here!!! 🌩️

...and Sumi is probably waiting under a light post somewhere, checking her phone clock, wondering why Haruhi is running late. 💔

:D Honestly I'm happy to comment and I really like the direction of your story so far!! This definitely has a "wholesome" tone throughout, that one section was just a little bit of a speed bump there ❤️ so I'm glad to hear your thoughts, and glad it *is* something you're thinking about! Whether you choose to put a small warning tag, or maybe change that one section a little bit, I think either way it'll smooth things out so people know that's a one-off and the rest of the story isn't going to focus on that topic! I'm excited for more

The cat boy finally crashes into the scene <3 He's quickly become one of my favorites, I have to admit. I was always planning on having another male character, but I didn't really have a concrete image in my mind until I started writing this chapter 🤣 and then an energetic cat-boy appeared and I couldn't refuse. One cute moment in the book store with Ayano to relax, before the gang is back on his tail 😆

Oooh Ayano is the "pretend" girlfriend now instead of the tutor. But she and Akari still have some genuine chemistry with that book recommendation moment. And Akari is going to hide his identity from her now~ hmmm~ this has more and more intrigue!!

I felt like Akimi cried because the movie resonated with her, and maybe...because she finally opened up. She was no longer "shutting of her heart before things could get to her" like she mentioned earlier. She wasn't being a cynic. She was being real, open, and vulnerable. And this maybe reconnected her to the feelings she has been shutting down by being cynical...and that can make anyone cry!! It also possibly made Akimi feel ashamed to have someone else (Takuro) witness that vulnerable moment, which is why she ran away.

But now I am theorizing for your story 😁 so I shall have to wait and see if I am close!!
