She's not a witch, and yet the ghost still appeared 🤔 and although she calls herself a 'demon' I get the feeling she isn't that either.

Daren seems ready to make her into a proper empress though. Partially from the blackmail, and partially because he might genuinely feel for her? I feel like they both relate to each other's darkness.

The announcement of a new empress is going to make waves in the castle! Honestly, with how conniving and intelligent Candace is, she seems well suited to being a Queen. She knows everyone. She plays the mind games. She has that evil streak needed to survive in the royal court 🤣 now she just needs to care about ruling the people, and she'll be perfect!

Annika and Kwan seemed genuinely really cute together, and you did such a good job describing the the cold rain and their dialogue as they fought not to be torn apart! I wonder what made Kwan's family so undesirable that Annika's parents would treat him like that? 😭

For sake of not over-filling this comment section I will keep my reply short, but I do think you have good points! 😆
I agree there's really two things at play here: (1) The definition of the word "otaku", and (2) Choosing the right people to share your hobbies with.
The 'otaku' term itself used to mean something more serious (sometimes still does), but it has also come to mean "anime fan in general" to some people. So it has more ambiguity now!
