Ayato has a secret weapon? 👀 maybe this is where Mab and her child end up being a part of the bigger story? I know the position of Prince/King is something that's elected in this world. So I think maybe if the people knew that Prince Tommaso actually had a child...then Lorenzo's claim for the throne might be threatened?

Ooooh!! The duel might not have gone as planned, but at least the Prince was able to give them the Jewel they needed 🤣 in a way, this was the quickest possible path to finding the Jewel!

Though by fighting the Prince for Arisa's hand in marriage 👀 Ayato did just kind of propose to her 🤣
The romance is pretty fast in this story, but seeing your comment that you hope to end the story with readers "thinking that Ayato and Arisa will be OK, that their relationship will eventually mature into something more" -- I think that's a good goal and makes sense! 👍

So Rakshasa wants to take over, or at least have partial control, of Ayato. Probably not a good idea to make more deals with a demon 😭 Ayato might get fully possessed one day!
(Also I wonder what would happen to Rakshasa if Ayato went back to Earth? Would Rak's magical powers fade in a non-magical world? 🤔)

But before worrying about that, Ayato needs to win this duel!

Ah yes, the hero's party 🤣 pick-pocketing a man, scamming him with a fake cloak, and contemplating murdering him in an alleyway with a demonic dagger.
I am starting to see why MAYBE, just maybe, people consider them to be fake heroes 👀

So it really is like the King Arthur myth, and Arturo is the one who took the sword in the stone 😭 but then...Arturo was killed by King Balaam. That's sad :( Arturo seems like he was a good man, and also he was Misane's brother.

But maybe Ignacio would be willing to give them the jewel if Misane talked to him? Or maybe if Ignacio knew the jewel was going to be used to send the "fake hero" back home to his own realm?

So more Greek mythology names now (Eros & Orion)? 😆 This is reminding me of Rage of Bahamut or Fate/Zero with all the mixture of mythologies

But it's good that the hero's party is rather famous! They can find a place to stay even in a busy city :D
...or maybe it's not a good thing! D: I wonder what Ignacio meant by saying that Ayato was a fake, and 'Arturo' was supposed to be the real hero.
(Considering this is "Avalon" though it makes sense that someone named Arturo/Arthur is the hero of prophecy...)

Lull is crossdressing?! 🤣 Ahahah, he’s going to be Arisa’s body double. Poor guy!
Oh wait, and Arisa is dressing up as Lull too! It would be so fun to see artwork of this chapter :D I bet their swapped costumes look amazing 😆 on they go to the Grand Bazaar! And if the Prince attacks, he’s going to kidnap the wrong guy/girl!

Ayato 😭 some of us aren’t rich enough to live in apartments with multiple rooms, my man. The number of sports shows I’ve been forced to watch because of sharing a living space with roommates… [sigh] it’s too many.

A jewel that might be able to send Arisa and Ayato home! With all the references we have so far, I'm wondering if you chose "Lazarus" to reference the Biblical figure and the related 'restoration of life' that he often represents in popular culture? Or was just a random name you chose? 😆

But now the group finally has a clear quest: find the Jewel of Lazarus and send Ayato & Arisa home!

Also it looks like Arisa won't have to worry about defending herself 🤣 if she's able to cast super-powerful magical spells like that, I don't think the Prince's men will be able to capture her!

The chapter is the Novel Title! I feel like something important will happen now! Maybe Arisa will find her Hero/Songstress powers?

Oh and a book bound in a Nian? 🤣 Now we have Chinese mythological new year beasts in here too! You’ve got Great Britian King Arthur Myths with the name “Avalon” and Queen Mab who is a dark fairy referenced in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. And you’ve mentioned Hypnos and Hippocratic Oaths which is primarily Grecian. And I’m sure there were lots of references during the Italy Dream chapter that I missed xD Now Chinese mythology too!
I’m starting to wonder if this isekai world is actually born from Earth’s mythologies and fairytales~

When Arisa reads the spell, she starts to sing! Yep! She definitely has Songstress magic! But I don’t think the curse in Lull’s arm wants to be vanquished!! 😱

The cursed Lullaby Boy is our next mystery 🤣 ooh the curse is from a demon! With all these demon events, I'm wondering now if the demon forces will become a bigger threat as the story goes on! Though it seems Lull was able to beat the demon (despite getting a curse 😆) so maybe the humans have this under control.

OH WAIT the only cure is to cut the arm off!? Oh no 😱

but ooooh the research on the Hero's Ritual! That sounds promising for sending Ayato and Arisa home, but I'm guessing it'll have to wait until they can fix Lull's curse!

So wait. Tommaso and Mab were in a romantic relationship? And Mab is carrying his child? 🤔 Unless demon children develop differently, that means Tommo died less than 9 months ago.
Also still not sure how Tommo or Mab are important to the bigger story here 🧐 but maybe I'll find out later. For now, at least, we know Tommo was murdered by a demon (Asmos) and that demon has already been slain by Ayato.

I do hope Mab can find a place to live safely and happily :(

Ahhh so this dream is made up of things Ayato and Arisa knew in their memories, like novels and video games, put together to create an illusion of Earth. But it's just "incorrect" enough for Arisa and Ayato to notice that this isn't real.

Not sure what Mab being pregnant has to do with the story yet 🤔 but I think if I keep reading I'll find out.

A dream sequence 🤔 I feel like this is all happening rather fast. Arisa punched the Prince. We're introduced to Ayato the hero. Ayato offers to shelter Arisa from the prince's wrath. Ayato and Arisa know each other for less than 24 hours, then they go on a walk in the garden...and bam! Demon Queen dream sequence! I feel like I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything that's happening.

So we get a glimpse of Tommaso, the previous deceased Prince, and then see Ayato and Arisa having a married life together in Italy? With kids?? 🧐 Okay I'm assuming this is a dream that Mab is making them have, since Mab thinks they're a lovey-dovey couple 🤣
