Comments are public! But I don't think you posted anything too spoiler-y 😆 I think as long as you post on whatever is the last chapter you talk about, it's not too much of a problem. And again thank you for the time and feedback!
Jun is supposed to be bad at romance 🤣 I apologize for the cringe, the goal was to give him room to grow and not to make him too perfect. But I realize that can make him come across as annoying too. The main reason for the MC having been hit with the dumb-stick is mostly time 🤔 I wanted to get the main setup, world premise, and story direction settled quickly. And to do that, I had to make Jun run around fast without much explanation for his motives 😂 I'm still trying to see if there are points where I can edit dialogue to make him a little better, without making the word count go higher.
But we will get some more look into the fantasy and magic as the world goes on 😆 the kelpies were a bit of an addition just to keep things fun for the date! But there will be more about Claire's magic, as well as a town festival to grow the culture, and some discussion about how elves are considered in this world. Again though, I'll admit that the world building and magic systems are deliberate loose in this story, because I chose to focus on the romantic interactions as the primary focus and couldn't devote as much time to exposition about complex systems. 
but I appreciate everything, and it gives me quite a few things to consider for revisions! (Just hoping I have time 😂 finishing the story before September is the biggest battle.)
