The Duke is the first villain, but I'll admit he's not a very big one. He was supposed to have a larger role, but that ended up being edited for time! If this were a longer novel, I'd liked to have delved into the politics around him (and how he'd bothered the Faralind family before) but I realize I need to focus on the Romance đ the 75.000 novel word maximum seems like a lot, but I'm trying to make sure I don't go over it.
Also please take your time with reading! If you can't catch up until September, I don't mind! (I've had to put off a few stories I'm reading till September, because I need to focus on my own writing or else I'll run out of time xD)
"I think this story, from what I've read and the reviews I've seen, really grasps the concept of wholesome beyond all the others." â¤ī¸â¤ī¸â¤ī¸ Seriously, you don't know what those words mean to me. One of the huge reasons I joined this competition was because of the "wholesome" prompt. And I do worry sometimes that my story does go a bit into darker/fantasy areas (because I don't want my story to be boring đ) but the wholesomeness is always my goal. So I'm really glad that it shows through to the readers 
Claire will be a bit absent for awhile, but she'll come back in style đ I guarantee it!
