Okay… wow. That was such a soft, beautiful way to end everything. Like, I actually felt myself exhale when I finished reading it. After all the chaos, heartbreak, tension… this final chapter just felt earned. Mahiru’s quiet joy? Totally deserved. Mamoru, still doing his thing in the background without making a show of it. And Yuuna—gosh, Yuuna never changes, does she? That tackle-hug made me laugh, seriously. It was just the perfect way to bring everyone back together.
One thing that really stuck with me was how you didn’t just stop at resolving the characters’ pain—you went all the way and tied in Germania’s healing too. Like, it wasn’t just about individuals getting better. It was a whole nation trying to recover from being torn apart. And that gave the ending so much more weight, emotionally.
Thinking back on the last handful of chapters—maybe 17 to 22—Mamoru’s plan slowly clicking into place? So satisfying. Like solving a puzzle, but one where you really care about the people involved. The flashbacks hit hard emotionally, but you didn’t overdo them. Just enough to make us understand what drove him. And Mahiru’s growth… it wasn’t some magical “all fixed now” arc. She earned that peace, clawed her way to it. And that made her happiness actually feel real.
If I had to nitpick something—and it’s small—I guess I wanted a little more from the side characters. Like Ayaka or some of the agents. They were there, they mattered… I just didn’t feel like I fully knew them. What were they afraid of? What was pushing them to make the choices they did? A bit more depth there could’ve made their scenes even more impactful.
But hey, that’s honestly just a small thing in the grand picture. What matters most is: you stuck the landing. You brought it all together—not just the character arcs, but the messy emotional and ideological threads too. And that’s hard. But you did it. Gracefully, even.
So yeah. Thanks for writing this. For letting us walk with these characters—through love and fear, grief and hope. You made it feel honest. And if you ever decide to expand this world (Yuuna’s post-reunion career, please! 😂), or start something new, I’ll be right here, ready to read whatever comes next!
Until then 💫
