And about the tense shift you mentioned: actually a great catch! You're absolutely right—I usually write the chapters in past tense, but sometimes, especially during internal monologues or emotionally intense moments, I unintentionally slip into present tense. In a way, I think it reflects how immediate and overwhelming the emotion feels to the character in that moment, like they're reliving it as it happens.

It wasn’t really a planned stylistic choice, but I guess it ended up fitting the atmosphere in a weirdly natural way. That said, I’ll definitely keep an eye on it moving forward to make sure it doesn’t feel jarring. I really appreciate you pointing it out!

Ahhh… okay, I think I owe you a bit of context regarding Ayaka 😅 That was actually a result of me juggling way too many stories at once. My final exams had just wrapped up, and I suddenly found myself in that weird post-exam limbo—both mentally and emotionally drained, yet desperately trying to fill the void. So I kind of went overboard and started binge-reading a ton of stuff all at once—some light novels, a few manga, even some web serials I had bookmarked ages ago.

Somewhere along the way, my brain decided to do a crossover episode without telling me 😅 I only realized the Ayaka slip after reading your reply, and yeah… major facepalm moment. 😂

Also, about you catching up on my novel—please don’t rush at all! I may have started early, but I accidentally made things way too ambitious without realizing it. So when the final days of the contest came around, I was in full panic mode trying to pull it all together 😵 Going back to re-read and edit everything at the last minute felt like a self-inflicted punishment xD So seriously, take your time. No pressure whatsoever!
